What To Do When Facing Difficult Times

Memory Verse of the Day

“Tell the righteous it will be well with them, for they will enjoy the fruit of their deeds”
(Isaiah 3:10, NIV)

No matter what’s going on with your life, no matter where you are in life, whether you are riding the tops of the mountains or scraping the dirt off the ground, God wants you to know that, as always, everything is going to be alright. “It’s going to be okay,” He would’ve whispered in your ear if He could.

Every day is a gift, and therefore every day is a challenge. God gives us challenges to strengthen us, to bolster our resolve as well as our character. Many of us easily recognize waking up in the morning as a gift from God, and yet many also fail to acknowledge that challenges are actually blessings in disguise. That is exactly why we must have faith!

There will always be difficult times in our lives, but always remember it is not the end. It is never the end with God. He will lead you to victory and to self-fulfillment as He had promised. God is only testing your faith to prove how much trust you have placed in Him. In the end, all will be well.

Learn This And Have A Better Memory

Psychologist and educators have said that we use only a small percentage of our brain power – and I agree with that.

Let me prove it to you with this simple question.

Which light is on the top of the traffic light? Is it the Red or the Green? Your first thought, probably is that this is an easy question to answer.

Pause for a moment and think about it…. Is it the Red or Green? You’re probably hesitating now.

Before I tell you the right answer, I just want to nail the point that the reason you’re hesitating now is because you’re not maximizing your brain power.

In memorizing Bible verses, to remember it quickly and retain it to your brain forever you need to use more of your brain power. So it sticks faster and longer. My advice to you is next time you try to memorize a verse make sure your full attention is on it.

By the way the correct answer is red.

Sure Way To Claim God’s Promises

One morning as I was listening to a sermon the preacher said “Where your focus goes, there’s where your energy flows.” And that’s so true.

If you focus on your problems or what’s wrong with your physical appearance such as facial wrinkles, baldness or sagging eyebrows, you’ll start to feel weaker and older.

In Proverbs 4:25 it says… “Let your eyes look straight ahead; fix your gaze directly before you”

You see, in the spiritual realm it’s the same thing. If you focus on your problems or things in your past, then you will stay right where you are. But if you choose to let go of the past, forgive, and forget, then you can focus what is ahead of you and claim God’s promises to you.

He wants you to have a life that’s full of peace, joy, and abundance.

But that’s not going to happen unless you look straight ahead so you can see His blessing. Start meditating His goodness and move forward into the life of victory He has promised you!

Start the habit of meditating God’s Word.

How To Look Younger Than Your Actual Age

Remember the first time you ever had a white hair…maybe in your eye brows?

That’s probably the moment that you realized that you’re truly getting older.

You see, lots of people today are finding ways to prolong their lives and renew their youth. But for us Christians, God has promised a sure way to renew our youth. In Proverbs it says…

“Do not forget my teaching, but keep my commands in your heart, for they will prolong your life many years and bring you peace and prosperity” – Proverbs 3:1-2, NIV

That’s God promised to you.

Here’s the thing, God didn’t say that you’ll just have a long and ordinary life. He wants you to have a peaceful and prosperous life. A kind of life that this world can’t give you.

That’s why it’s so important to keep His Words as top priority in your life. Today, choose to keep His commands through memorization and meditation of scriptures. You’ll then enjoy His peace and prosperity all the days of your life.

Keep His Words in your heart and head forever.

How To Begin Your Day Right

Each morning as you open your eyes, God renews you with a heavenly joy. It’s like the sun that it never fails to do its job. The joy is there for you to take and day after day and it’s saying “Take me in. Make this day a joyful one.”

But the problem is, a lot of people are pre-occupied with worries, to dos, and their day to day thing. So they fail to experience God’s renewing joy and strength each day.

The way to start a great day is to choose an attitude of faith and full of expectancy simply by meditating with your mouth and mind…“Today will be a great day.” Whenever you do that, you’re taking advantage God’s infinite power and empower yourself.

If say you’re in age related physical pain, just close your eyes and declare with your mouth and mind and declare Jeremiah 30:17…”But I will restore you to health and heal your wounds…” Do this several times with expectancy and you’ll be amazed how God will move and heal you.

That’s why, it’s important that you have some memorized Bible verses in your heart and mind. This way, you can declare God’s goodness wherever whenever.

What God Has Done For You In The Past?

After a visit to my dentist for a regular check up, I went home and watched TV. I chanced upon a commercial playing on television about a bank that tells of its strong credit line, wonderful service, innovative products and a history of credibility. As the narrator speaks, video clips of people shaking hands, smiling and even showing previous awards and recognitions. After watching this thirty second commercial, I wanted to go to their nearest branch and open an account. It clearly showed the solid track record of this company.

God does the same thing. He may not have a thirty second commercial but His proof of work is everywhere. His commitment to people is unprecedented. His track record is more than solid. It is faithful and never changing. He has delivered on time and has never broken a promise. His goodness continues and has never failed. That is the God that we serve.

My friend, I want you to remember today how God has moved in your life. Has He provided for your needs? Has He given you guidance especially during times of decision making? How about the time you pray for healing when you were had an injury? And when you needed strength, He gave it to you supernaturally, didn’t He?

Thirty seconds is not enough to tell the accounts of God’s track record. Every person on this planet has a story to say. They have a personal testimony to share of how God moved in their life. When people spanning from different generations, from different nations and from backgrounds voice out their personal experience with God, no one can deny His proven track record.

Post below the BIGGEST thing that God has done for you in the past.

Devotional: Read The Instructions Carefully

When we purchase an appliance, a toy or a new gadget, the most human thing we do is rip the box open, pull out them and use it. That’s fine if we know how to use it from the get-go. But sometimes, while in use, we break it. Then we ask, “What happened?”

We forget that the product came with an instruction manual. This carefully crafted and well though publication contains vital information in the use, care and conditioning of the item that came with it. It’s pages contain the list of the different parts that comes with the product and how to assemble it, the important details you need to remember, the proper way of use, and even how to troubleshoot it just in case it does not work. Nowadays, they even come in different translations. The author already had these in mind so that whoever took home that television (for example) will know how to operate it.

But who actually takes the time reading a manual, right?

In a 2007 survey conducted by Accenture, an astonishing 95 percent of consumers return the products they bought because it does not work. Or so they say. Actually, only 5 percent were really broken. The rest were in good working condition. The problem is that people did not bother to read the manual. If they did, then they would have used the product without any problems.

Provers 4:13 says “Carry out my instructions; don’t forsake them. Guard them, for they will lead you to a fulfilled life.” (NLT) A loosely paraphrased version is “READ THE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY.” God is telling you today to read his Word and see how its instructions matter to your life. Don’t just skip pages. But take the time and read it for all its worth. It will save your life.

Our life is complicated as it is. We need the manual and it is the Word for God.
